Chairman Message

Dear Fellow Lions, Leos, and Honored Guests,

It is a profound honor and privilege to welcome you all to the vibrant city of Hong Kong for the 64th OSEAL Forum, convening here from 25 November to 28 November 2027 under our inspiring theme, “Elevate Our Future.”

To elevate our future is both a profound responsibility and an urgent call to action. It demands that we build dynamically upon our achievements, lift our collective vision, and broaden the horizons of what we can accomplish through service. It challenges every Lion and Leo within the OSEAL constitutional area to rise to new heights of excellence, ensuring that our association remains a beacon of hope for generations to come.

Over the course of these four days, we will channel our shared determination into three vital pillars:

• Elevating Our Service: We must continuously innovate our humanitarian initiatives. By adopting forward-thinking solutions, we will ensure our projects address emerging global challenges while remaining deeply impactful at the local level.
• Elevating Our Leadership: Our future depends on the continuous development of exceptional leaders. We are dedicated to empowering our Leos and young Lions, providing them with the mentorship and platforms necessary to guide our association forward.
• Elevating Our Membership: Sustainable growth requires an inclusive approach. We must foster a diverse and welcoming environment that attracts and inspires new generations of dedicated change-makers to join our ranks.

We are uniquely positioned to achieve these goals as we return to this world-class metropolis, still inspired by the resounding success of the 108th Lions International Convention hosted here in July 2026. Hong Kong’s exceptional hospitality, flawless execution, and vibrant energy set a magnificent global standard. The momentum generated during that historic global gathering continues to propel our constitutional area forward, serving as the perfect foundation for our discussions this week.

Our ability to host such monumental events and continue steering the future of service is a testament to the exemplary, visionary guidance within our ranks. I would like to extend a special expression of gratitude to our esteemed Past International President, Dr. Tam Wing-kun. His tireless leadership and continued dedication to the forum committee leadership have been instrumental in bringing us together in Hong Kong. His legacy of service continues to inspire our efforts to push boundaries and reach new heights.

The enduring strength of OSEAL lies in our remarkable diversity and our unbreakable unity. When we align our efforts, leverage the inspiration from our recent International Convention, and combine our unique cultural perspectives, there is no summit we cannot reach in our mission to serve humanity.

I encourage you to participate fully in the scheduled seminars, engage in meaningful dialogues, and strengthen the bonds of international fellowship. Let us use this platform to share proven strategies and return to our home districts with renewed purpose and enthusiasm.

I extend my highest commendation and heartfelt gratitude to the steering committee, the forum organising committee of Lions Clubs International District 303 Hong Kong & Macao, China, our volunteers, and our partners. Your meticulous planning and unwavering dedication have brilliantly brought this forum to fruition.

Thank you for your leadership, your presence, and your steadfast commitment to our global mission. Together, let us inspire one another and elevate our future.

Yours in Lionism,
Lion Alexander Wong
