Past International Director Message

Dear Lions and Leo Friends,

It is my great honour and immense pleasure to welcome all distinguished Lions delegates and guests from across the region to Hong Kong for the 64th Orient and Southeast Asia Lions Forum (OSEAL).

Hosted by Lions Clubs International District 303 – Hong Kong & Macao, this year’s Forum holds profound personal significance for me. It marks my 35th OSEAL Forum participation throughout my Lions journey, and my fifth time having the privilege of hosting this prestigious regional gathering.

For decades, the OSEAL Forum has united Lions leaders, professionals and volunteers across our region under the noble spirit of “We Serve”. It has always been a vital platform for friendship exchange, experience sharing, service innovation, and cross-border cooperation. Through every Forum, we strengthen our solidarity, uphold our Lions mission, and inspire one another to deliver greater humanitarian service to our communities.

Hong Kong has always been a loyal and active member of the OSEAL family. Over the years, District 303 has proudly undertaken the responsibility of hosting this regional event on nine different occasions, fully demonstrating the passion, capability, dedication and commitment of Hong Kong Lions. We are fully committed to delivering a splendid, harmonious, high-quality and truly unforgettable Forum for every visiting Lion friend.

I sincerely hope that during this 64th OSEAL Forum, all Lions delegates will enjoy fruitful exchanges, share valuable service experiences, build closer brotherhood, and jointly chart the blueprint for the future development of OSEAL humanitarian services. May we continue to uphold our Lions spirit, unite as one, and bring more warmth, hope and positive power to our society.

Wishing the 64th Orient and Southeast Asia Lions Forum a resounding success! Wishing all Lion friends a pleasant and memorable stay in Hong Kong!

With sincere Lionistic greetings,
Lion Teresa Mann
